Lately I've been ever so slightly obsessed with ric-rac. Whether I'm using it on my cards or sewing up beautiful borders it truly is top of the trims! Here are five favourite ideas for how to play with it
The inspiration for this post came from an online shopping fail I suffered recently. I ordered metres of lemon ric-rac for my 100 cards weekend, but when it arrived in the post, the colour didn't match up with the rest of my supplies. So now I have reams of ric-rac that's just crying out to be played with! Here's my 5 favourite ideas for how to use it...
1. Wrap up gifts Give perfect presents with this simply splendid ric rac gift wrap tutorial from Bugs and Fishes.

2. Dress up

3. Jazz up plain sheets Having just moved house, I'm having major duvet dilemmas - so I'm loving this easy pillow cover tutorial from The Mother Huddle.

4. Get children making too One of my favourite events of year are our family's Easter Egg hunts, so hooray for these Easter bunny baskets from Positively Splendid!
