I am constantly in awe of all the gorgeous handmade projects on Flickr. While browsing this week I stumbled upon this beautiful papercrafted birdhouse project from craftilicious blogger Teawagon.
Making time: check out this whimsical DIY birdhouse clock on Flickr... or make your own with the free tutorial atTeawagon Tales. It's got me thinking - could cuckoo clocks be due a major crafty revival? They're retro, there's something reassuringly nostalgic about them... and they're ideal for a scrapbook-style makeover!
Fir cone details? Clearly a craft genius!!! Speaking as someone who constantly picks up fir cones, dusts them down and gathers them in her pockets 'just in case I need them for something' - I am extremely chuffed to find the perfect way to show them off!
Teawagon's Flickr photostream is full of sunny shades and happy-making craft projects - I especially like this crochet bunting.
And check out her blog to find out what she's making this week - these dotty apple thank you cards on graph paper backdrop are officially being added to my quick makes card ideas list!
