Hello, I hope you're enjoying our virtual street party - Zoe and I are having so much fun, and I'm especially excited about our free Knit the Queen pattern! As my little party gift, I thought I'd share three of my embroidery designs with you. Read on to find your download link!

There are three hand-drawn templates for you to enjoy - a teacup, a swirly cupcake, and a summer strawberry. The templates are really easy to use, even if you've never tried embroidery before; simply print out, trace on to fabric, and backstitch over all the lines with stranded cotton. You might want to hold the fabric taut using an embroidery hoop, if you have one.
Some stitchers like to transfer embroidery designs on to fabric using special transfer pens or paper, but I must admit that I just hold the template and fabric up to the window, and trace over the design with a sharp pencil!
If you're feeling more adventurous, you could add some satin stitch or even applique to these designs. If you've got little ones who want to join in, you can print out a few extra templates and let them colour in.
