Jubilee card project from Going Buggy

We're big fans of Enfys Cashmore's card designs - she's a regular contributor to Papercraft inspirations, and you can find some of her most popular projects on The Making Spot too!

Enfys has designed this gorgeous crown-shaped card especially for our Jubilee street party. We love the sparkling gems and dainty colour scheme. "I avoided red white and blue and went for a pale primrose instead," says Enfys. Love it!

New York card making idea

I have a confession to make - recently my card making kit has fallen into a slight state of neglect. Usually most weekends see me whipping up some form of card for a family birthday or friend's new baby - but in recent months my fingers have been busy stitching and I've let my beloved (and extensive!) papercraft stash gather dust slightly. So I decided to get back in the saddle to celebrate my friends' Sarah & Dave's wedding last weekend. Please forgive these shaky iphone pics but I really wanted to share as am pleased with the results! Read more to find out how to make a skyline silhouette card...

Heart map valentines card

Our adventures in die-cutting continue! Here's our latest handmade card creation - an alternative valentines card is an ode to travel lovers. It's inspired by all the lovely things we're seeing on Pinterest with vintage maps and books. This the result of a cake'n'craft night - baking and card making while listening to old movies music. Our challenge was to make a card some new super-skinny dies we've discovered - Sizzix Framelits. They create really ornate paper-cut-style details. Cross stitching out of season

OK OK so here in England the air is getting chilly and the Christmas vibes on the high street are gathering pace with Christmas gift guides and festive craft projects everywhere you look. But as every stitcher knows, Christmas isn't the only reason to get crafting in the winter months. This Perfect Pair set of romantic cards is one of my all-time favourite out-of-season stitching projects! They're a pretty nifty project if you've got winter weddings or anniversaries coming up, or *shock*if you're THAT organised you're thinking ahead to Valentine's day... he he.
