Knit bears & squares for Refuge

 

Simply Knitting and The Knitter have launched another fantastic crafty campaign for Refuge, the charity which helps families experiencing domestic violence. This year, they're asking nifty knitters to create something special for children staying at Refuge's safe houses - a cuddly teddy or a cosy cot blanket.

Knit the Nation is seeing knitters everywhere getting together to create a miniature knitted village. The finished village is going to be on display at this year's Stitch & Craft Show - with prizes for the best knits! We're busy getting our thinking caps on for what to make... lamp-posts? post boxes? dogs? trees? oooh or how about a knitted pond?
