We're helping you get crafting for Easter with a fun blog party this weekend. This morning we've got a fantastic free download from DMC - a selection of Easter motifs to cross stitch! There are four gorgeous designs to stitch, including Easter eggs, a cute chick and a pretty 'Easter' greeting. The motifs are simple enough for beginner stitchers - you just need to know basic cross stitch, plus backstitch and French knots (for the chick's eye!).

Today we've got a fun free cross stitch pattern for you - Maria Diaz's Bright Blue Flowers. This design is so much fun to stitch and won't take long- it measures 7x10cm, and there are no fractional stitches or backstitch. It's the perfect size for a greetings card, notebook patch or needlebook.
