Knit 'angel pockets' for Sands

The Bath branch of Sands, the stillbirth and neonatal death charity, is looking for crafters to knit special baby blankets called 'angel pockets'.

These little blankets will be added to memory boxes, to be passed on to the Royal United Hospital. Laura Rodger says that Sands would be incredibly grateful to anyone who would like to knit an Angel Pocket. “We know how important these little blankets are to parents, and sadly we don’t have enough at the moment,” she says.

If you'd like to help, visit The Knitter website for more information, plus a link to the free pattern.

You can also visit the Sands Bath homepage, as well as the national Sands website.
