Ooooh when we asked Shimelle Laine if she fancied coming to our Jubilee Street Party, we were chuffed she could make it - we knew she has some SERIOUS skills when it comes to paper play, scrapbooking and photography, but we didn't realise she was also more-than-pretty-nifty with a needle & thread - until now! Check out Shimelle's DIY Jubilee party dress tutorial. We love that she's recycled fabric from a previous dress-making attempt, plus a black T-shirt - and that she's added a cool collar - to create her blue, white & black creation. One of our favourite things about events like the Diamond Jubilee Street Party is the chance to get together with our friends & neighbours! Super-scrapbooker Ifa Zainon loves it when her local village gets together to celebrate - so she's made this scrapbook layout about their parties. We love the mini union jack bunting, held in place with brads, and her egg & spoon race brings back fond memories of school sports days! Thanks for joining the party Ifa x
