Make a Mother's Day card

Here's a great free tutorial from Judy Balchin - how to make a Mother's Day card. This card is simple enough for beginner papercrafters, and even children can have a go if you help them cut out the shapes. Choose card and felt in your mum's favourite colours and handwrite the greeting to make your card really personal.

Make Martha's monster mittens!

We stumbled across this fantastic craft idea from Martha Stewart and just had to share - monster mittens!

This project is a great example of 'upcycling' with your craft skills; simply use Martha's templates to cut monster details from felt, then stitch on to shop-bought fleece mittens. Kids will love them, and it's quick and easy to make all the different monster characters. Thanks, Martha!

Make a quilled card - it's easy!

Quilling is the art of coiling paper to make different shapes and images. Quilled designs can be really simple or super-sophisticated - check out some of Yulia Brodskaya's amazing quilled artwork.
